Mortal Kombat 11 carries on the iconic fighting game’s legacy of
tight combo gameplay and incredibly visceral gore in an all-new,
realistic graphics engine and with more customization than
ever.
Mortal Kombat 11 continues the story of Mortal Kombat X. Right
after the defeat of the elder god Shinnok, his mother Kronika, the
keeper of time, changes history to undo Raiden’s work. This
cascades into a traipse through time where different characters
meet different versions of themselves from alternate times in a
fascinating story that develops the characters better than
ever.
The game allows players to create their own character with a
custom appearance and a unique move set. It also features 25
playable characters both from classic Mortal Kombat lore and new
additions to the series.
New to the game are Fatal Blows and Krushing Blows, which are
similar to the classic Fatalities and Brutalities but are only
triggered when certain conditions are met. The game also features
Flawless Blocking, which rewards players for blocking with good
timing by allowing them to counterattack swiftly.
The game features a Kombat Pack DLC that gives access to 6 DLC
characters as they appear. So far, Sindel and Shang Tsung have been
released, with Nightwolf announced for release soon. Spawn, the
comic book character by Todd McFarlane, will be making an
appearance as a guest character as part of the Kombat Pack. Each of
the characters can be purchased separately. Shao Kahn can be
purchased separately as well.
